Global Trade Management

Enterprise platform for global trade transactions and compliance

Container ship in ocean

BNY Mellon's global trade platform handled $9 billion in annual transactions across 15 countries — Letters of Credit, Collections, payment schedules. Traders worked across four separate applications to complete a single trade. When they needed their credit position, they used Excel. When traders needed status, they called operations.

I led the redesign over five months — unifying four applications into a single platform. Transactions, payments, and documents managed in one interactive grid — eliminating most reports. A configurable dashboard surfaced the credit insights traders used to pull from Excel. Step-by-step wizards simplified trade initiation. Projected $1.2 million in annual savings.
